Why Is It?
Why is it that all they need to do is wrap their chubby little arms around you and smooch you with those baby soft lips and say "I wuv you too mommy" and it melts your heart and makes you teary because less than a minute ago you wanted to wring that chubby little neck??

Colton's Favorites
Colton is changing so much every day and I felt like I needed to write down his favorite things right now before he has new favorites and we forget...
1. Favorite Letter: W. He loves W's and will find a W in the oddest places, today it was a Muddy claw from a Mud Hens game last summer, and yes it has three claws that look like a W.
2. Reading. Colton love to read and be read to. His current favorites are anything Curious George, What Stinks by G. Carruth, and Squishy Fish. We can read them to him and he will finish the sentences. It is so cool to see how much he remembers.
3. Playing Wake Up! Chris or I....well anyone that will play really, pretends to sleep and snore and he yells 'WAKE UP!!' and you jump up and he rolls in laughter.
4. Hide and Seek. If we count and he hides, he runs to his hiding place and then when you start to look for him he comes out of his hiding space giggling before you "find him". If he counts then he covers his eyes and peeks through his fingers.
5. SpongeBob Squarepants and Backyardigans which he calls Pablo. Elmo is out. So sad because we have tons of Elmo stuff now.
6. Kindermusik and all the cd's and music instruments associated with it. Favorite Kindermusik instrument has to be the sticks and he LOVES the drum in class.
7. His kitchen.
8. Mandarin Oranges.
9. Mac and Cheese or Noodles as he calls them.
10. Smooching, he wants us to smooch him if he hurts anything and I love it!
My favorites about him right now are: how much he is talking, his vocabulary amazes me daily. I love that he loves to give smooches and big squeezes frequently, that he knows his full name Colton Massew (Matthew) Moore, his energy and I wish I could bottle it and take it myself some days, his beautiful big brown eyes, his contagious laugh, his beautiful smile, how he has started saying uuummmmm when he isn't sure of the answers, that he really is trying to learn the potty business, and most of all his loving personality. He is going to be a great man one day!

Playing Catch Up Again!
So I am playing catch up again. I got really behind after Christmas and I can't believe I haven't posted in over a month! Well there are now a ton of new posts for all of you to catch up on. Don't forget to use the "older posts" button at the bottom of the posts on this page because there are so many that it rolled over to a second page. Hope you enjoy and I hope I don't get so far behind anymore.
Colton and Ethan
I watched Ethan a while back for my good friend Elle and here is the result of the boys hanging together at dinner time. I will say Colton started it and it Ethan just followed suit. It was too funny, I just had to get it on video! Can you imagine this everyday, I am thinking 2 yr old twins just isn't my style! LOL

It's A GIRL!!
Build A Bear
Chris has really wanted to do this with Colton for quite some time so since we both had the day off yesterday we took Colton to Build A Bear. He had a good time and made a monkey who he named Curious George of course. Curious George is probably one of Colton's favorite books and to him all monkeys are George.

New Baby
Colton fell in love with all the new babies in my sisters circle of friends. This is the newest addition. Her name is Avery and she was born on Thanksgiving Day! She is a true beauty and looks just like her mom. Colton wanted to hold her all by himself and kept trying to take her out of my arms so he could carry her around. Thankfully sitting on the couch with her was sufficient. He couldn't resist giving her a goodbye kiss. Early love?
Sledding
We finally were able to take Colton to Northview hill to go sledding. He did not want to do it at first and kept saying "no like it" but we ignored him and told him yes he did like it! Bad parents :0) LOL After a few times down he actually did really like it and had a blast and so did we. Chris and I had not been sledding in ages and forgot how much fun it could be! Shadow had a great time too and we could barely keep him off the sled. I know no one is going to believe me so I have video proof!
