GIST 4/5

1.  Flex care spending accounts....love my new front teeth :-D

2.  McDonalds Playlands, gives the kids a place to burn off their energy when it's too cold to play outside, and gives me a few minutes to enjoy a coffee.

3.  Chris being able to enjoy the day off with us.

4.  Daddy and Colton time, they look so cute playing together.

5.  Pay-per-view movies!  So great not to have to go to the movie store if you decide after the kids go to bed that you want to enjoy a bowl of popcorn and a movie.


1.  My husband for doing all of the prep work so we can get the house fixed.

2.  Colton telling jokes.

3.  Being praised as a parent for having such a 'great kid'.

4.  Go Fish.

5.  My UGGs.  Who knew they look great with everything!

GIST 3

1.  Friends who, even if you haven't seen them in days, weeks, or months, you are able to fall right back into place with them like had just seen them yesterday.

2.  Christmas lights.

3.  Baby babble :0)  Love those cute coos!

4.  My beautiful neices funny sneezy face.

5.  Leftover pumpkin pie with extra whipped cream.  Yummy!

GIST 2

1. Great friends.

2. A good burger and an ice cold beer!

3. Black Friday Madness, always fun to go out and watch how crazy people can get.

4. My sisters face when she met the crazy "Gymbo" crowd. She was amazed at how serious these ladies are about their Gymboree! LOL

5. A 2yr old who sleeps through a newborn crying in the middle of the night...well most of the time.

GIST 1

GIST (Grace In Small Things) is part of many people's blogs that I follow and I have been wanting to do it myself but A: I haven't been a very faithful blogger lately and B: I keep thinking I will start it on January 1st because that is the beginning of a new year and will work out perfectly. Well today is Thanksgiving and what a better time that today to start letting people know what you are thankful for so here goes!

1. Colton going to sleep on his own with NO crying for the last 2 nights...fingers crossed it stays that way!

2. Starbucks Caramel Brule Latte. OMG a little bit of heaven in a cup!

3. Baby smiles :0)

4. My husband for doing the dishes without even being asked. Way to go honey!

5. My friends and family for helping me keep my sanity most days.

So!

SOOOO I haven't blogged in months and feel like a total slacker. The months have gone by and the more I look at our blog and everyone elses blogs the less and less motivated I feel. The summer proved to be busy with a two year old and of course the new one on the way. I literally have hundreds of pictures from the summer that are STILL on my camera and was/am too lazy to load them all to the computer. We did lots of things over the summer; Colton is potty trained, trips to the zoo, playdates, playing in the park, swimming, cookouts and more. We had a fantastic fall with a wedding celebration in Arizona just weeks from my due date, pumpkin patches, leaf raking, the birth of our beautiful new baby boy Landon, and Trick or Treating. Now the leaves have all fallen and the cold air is blowing. The snow will be here before we all know it! So I need to get back in to the swing of things, load my pictures to the computer and get back on the blogging bandwagon. Pictures and more posts to come soon...I hope!
