My 1st ER Visit :0(
Well we had the joy of our first ER visit today. Colton started with a cold yesterday, you know the runny nose, coughing, whiny stuff. Well this morning he woke up with a major bug in his pants, still had the runny nose, cough, and whiny.....well that was an understatement! He seriously cried from 6:40am until 10:30 when I called the pediatrician. They got us in at 11:15 and he was retracting (really using those muscles under his ribs) and they put the pulse ox on his finger and he was only sating at 88-89%, normal is 97-100%. They gave him two breathing treatments in the office and he was still retracting and only sating at 90% so off to the ER we went. There he got seen right away which I was very thankful for and he got a chest x-ray. He did a great job getting his chest x-ray, they had him sit on a little wooden bench and he did a great job sitting still like a big boy! The x-ray showed he has bronchiolitis so they did another breathing treatment and he was sating at 97-98% so we were able to take him home. We did get to bring home our own personal breathing machine and he is supposed to get breathing treatments every 4 hours unless he needs them more frequently, for 24 hours then we do them on an as needed basis. He is pretty much back to his old self, he still seems winded but at least he is breathing better and playing. Needless to say we had a pretty scary and exhausting day, but we are definitely glad to be home and sleeping in our beds and not a hospital bed!

Woodland Park
Ok so I am not sure if you all are having problems seeing my slide show or not but if you are, if you click on the button below it that says view all images you can see the slide show. Gee and I was feeling so special about figuring it out. :0)
Took Colton to Woodland Park in Perrysburg today! I am always looking for something new to do with him to keep him occupied and wear him out! OH my goodness! This is the most fantastic park that I have ever been to. It is beautiful! There is a special area for the "tots" that is gated off and there are all these great little kid play equipment. No swings inside the gate, those are on the outside area, so no worries about your little one getting bopped in the head. Over all we had a great time, I got a great sunburn :0( But Colton of course had a blast. Can't wait to go again soon. The picture attached is of him eating his crackers for lunch, don't you just love the attitude! LOL

Zooing It
Took Colton to the zoo today. We had a beautiful day here, high of 75 and sunny! Could it get any better. We renewed our membership so if anyone wants to go, let zoo it for the day!! We've got to get our moneys worth. He had a great time, we went with one of my friends from work and her two kids. They all had a blast and Colton was out cold by 7:45 tonight. He was falling asleep on the changing table. LOL Here are a few pictures of us at the zoo.

Dirt and Finger Paints
Well in case you haven't noticed I can't figure out how to make a slide show that I can attach here. I am so NOT tech savvy! So sorry that I can't get those done but I did edit my old post to add some pictures.
Not too much new here, Colton is still not walking. He can totally do it but flat out refuses which I guess should not surprise me. He is strong willed and bull headed at times, plus he knows that someone will pick him up if he wants to get somewhere and also that crawling is faster!
We are so thankful for the warmer weather! Colton absolutely adores the outside and can't seem to be out enough. He loves crawling around out there and touching the grass, dirt, rocks, etc. He enjoys his cozy coupe on occasion but still seems to be happier exploring. He also seems to love the taste of dirt, not sure why, but he continues to eat fistful after fistful of it. The first time he did it I was like ok eat the dirt you will learn it doesn't taste good but that doesn't work because he really seems to like it and would eat a whole bucket full if I let him! I have attached a picture of him eating dirt as well as a few of his first time finger painting, notice he seems to like the taste of finger paints too! Goof ball!
