1.  2 Kids napping at the same time.

2.  My neighbor moving...not so much her but her granddaughter, lets just say she is a bit of a challenge!

3. Popcorn 'a la Elle'.  OMG it is SO good. 

4.  Making home made cards out of Colton's artwork.

5.  Only having to work Fri and Sat this week.  Can't beat my 3 day schedule :0)

1.  Getting called off work.

GIST 26

1.  Snuggling with baby after a long night at work.

2.  Talking with Colton tonight.  I told him thank you for being such a good boy tonight and that I had a great day with him.  He told me 'no mommy thank you, you are the most fantastic mommy in the whole wide world'.  Thanks buddy, I needed that after feeling guilty about leaving him to go back to work this week :-D

3.  Chris being super dad and taking care of the boys while I am back at work.  He is pulling the night duty feedings since I am at work, plus trying really hard to keep the boys quiet so I can sleep during the day.

4.  The sound of a newborn babies first cry.

5.  2 days till Brad :-D!

Back to Work

Well my 12 short weeks of maternity leave is over and I went back to work on Monday.  It was bittersweet.  While I totally love my job, I seriously missed my little ones!  The sleep issue is hard, Chris tries like heck to keep the boys quiet but we live in a little house and when your baby is crying you have the tendancy to wake.  Ahh so goes the life of a mommy who works the night shift.  I am going to try really hard to keep up on my GIST while I am working.  We shall see how it goes!

1. Colton being over the flu! A puking 2 yr old is NO fun!

2. Landon going to sleep on his own...I will NOT make the same mistake twice!!

3. Bounce Dryer Bar. LOVE IT!

4. Sylvania Playland. It's a great place to run off your kids energy.

5. Heading back to work in 4 days! I can't believe this is a positive, but it is. I love my job....yes I said it!

Landon 10 Weeks

Landon turned 10 weeks on Monday and he had his well check on Wednesday.  He is 12# 10 ounces 60th%, 23 3/4 inches 75th%, and has a 15 3/4 inch head 80th%.  He is doing well and achieving all his expected milestones.  He has an adorable social smile, coos, follows objects past midline, and has great head control.  He is sweet and very social.  He will 'talk' to anyone who will listen and that smile lights up the room!  He eats about every 3 hours and prior to his vaccines, he had 2 nights in a row that he slept 6 hrs straight....heavenly.  He adores Colton and will watch him for as long as Colton will 'play' with him.  He received 3 vaccines at his appointment and was none to happy about it.  He cried for a few minutes then once held, quieted right down.  Once we were home he slept for a few hours but when he woke up the screaming began, a little motrin, food, and 30 minutes later he was much better.  Unfortunatley last night he was up every 2hrs and mama was getting a bit crazy.  Lets hope tonight is a bit better!

I totally LOVE all my bunco girls and had a fantastic night last night (thanks Elle)!!  It is a great way to get away with your girls once a month and enjoy some great quality time with your favorite drink friends :)

GIST 21/22

Sorry I am again behind on my GIST.  Landon had his 2 month check up and lets just say he did NOT appreciate the shots that he was given.  It has been a rough few days but hopefull the boy will sleep tonight!

1.  Colton playing with Grammy.  He sooo adores her.

2.  Watching all three cousins together.  Colton, Landon, and Addie are so cute, I just can't get enough of them.  They are going to be a great crew growing up together.

3.  Colton falling asleep 1/2 way through a book.  No nap time battle!

4.  Coming home to a semi clean kitchen.  Hey I can deal with only having to wipe down counters!

5.  Being snowed in.

1.  Birthday parties.

2.  Cake from Costco...if you haven't tried this you should.  It's almost as good as Estons....I said ALMOST!

3.  Landon having a great check up!  Right on track and doing great!

4.  Coffee, the smell, the taste....mmmmmm

5.  Seven Jeans.  I LOVE how they fit!  Just wish they didn't cost so much so I could have 10 pair!

GIST 20

1.  Making lasagna for my mom, sis, and brother in law.  It was nice to have them over for dinner.

2.  Hosting a small playdate.  Great to talk to my girls :)

3.  My mom giving Colton a bath....so I have snuck away to update my blog!

4.  Almost being able to see the bottom of the laundry pit! UGH does it ever end??!!

5.  17 days till a night away with out the kids...Can't wait!!!

GIST 19

Lets say this one has been pretty difficult!  With our fantastic, almost 3yr olds new found attitude (insert sarcastic remark here) finding things to be happy and thankful for have been few and far between today.  I swear he seriously knows he is being a pain in the behind and is totally enjoying seeing his father and I melt in frustration.  Who knew a 2 1/2 yr old could make you this crazy?!

1.  Waking to a winter wonderland.

2.  Using our YMCA membership...as  family.  It was so nice to go together tonight.

3.  Seeing Colton enjoy the pool, smile, and behave.  After this afternoon I wasn't sure that could happen!

4.  5 straight hours of sleep.

5.  Doing some major cleaning to the living room.  Can't believe the grime that accumulates in just a few days of cold, icy, snowy weather.

GIST 17/18

1.  New blog followers :)

2.  Comments on my blog!  I rarely get comments, partially because my comments were 'off' (unbeknownced to me) for a while but also because I don't have a lot of blog followers.  So needless to say I am always super excited to have a comment!

3.  Movie night and a bottle of wine with my best friend.

4.  Colton getting to go to a movie and spend the night with Grammy.

5.  Landon only waking once last night!  Hallelujah!


1.  $5 Borders Bucks!  Free $5 to spend any way I choose :)

2.  Christmas tree and decorations down and put away.  I am also sort of sad about this as well, our house looks so bare now.

3.  Warm mittens, baby it's cold outside!

4.  Landon rolling over for the 1st time.  He was wide awake after his early morning feeding Friday so we had a little mommy and me time on the floor and over he went! 

5.  Colton's true belly laugh.  It's the best sound :)

GIST 16

1.  Having my husband home on a Friday night...that NEVER happens!

2.  Playing race cars with Colton.

3.  Colton grocery shopping with me and us having a 'coffee' while we shop.

4.  PJ's ALL day!

5.  Getting to sleep in this morning :0)

Happy New Year to all of you who read my blog (all 3 of you!).  We had a pretty fantastic 2009!  We welcomed lots of people into our family this year.  Addie was born on June 1st, Matt and Julie got married in September, and we made Colton a big brother and welcomed our newest addition, Landon, on October 26th.  Chris and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary, Colton turned 2 and we got to make a fantastic trip to Arizona for Matt and Julie's wedding.  All in all we had a great year and hope to have a fabulous 2010!
